Zero Motorcycles at EICMA: Technology and Stage Design for Electric Mobility

At the 2024 edition of EICMA, Zero Motorcycles once again confirmed its prominent role in the electric two-wheeler industry. For yet another year, the brand—renowned for its commitment to sustainability—chose Imagines to deliver the technical setup of its stand, consolidating a collaboration active since 2021. The result was a compact, hi-tech, and detail-oriented space. Commissioned by Strike Agency, our team managed every operational phase: from design to installation, through to press conference management and on-site technical support throughout the entire exhibition.

A Technical Concept Supporting Brand Design

Zero Motorcycles’ stand at EICMA was conceived as an immersive showcase to launch, among others, the new XE and XB electric models. Our technical work was designed to maximize the futuristic aesthetics of the bikes and the innovative, sustainable identity of the brand through fully integrated visual and sound solutions.

Two large 2.6 mm LED walls were installed to display emotional content and promotional videos. Strategically positioned within the space, they gave rhythm to the brand’s visual storytelling, ensuring a powerful and continuous impact throughout the event.

Lighting and Sound for an Immersive Experience

Every detail of the setup was calibrated to highlight the lines of the showcased motorcycles. Our black trusses, seamlessly integrated into the overall scenography, supported a lighting system engineered to precisely illuminate the bodywork, design details, and textures of the new Zero models.

Alongside the lighting system—featuring mainly helix and profile spotlights—we installed an immersive audio setup that diffused ambient sounds and tailor-made audio content. This strengthened the brand’s innovative and sustainable message. The result was a dynamic, fluid, and engaging stand where technology and storytelling worked in perfect synergy.

One Event, Three Operational Phases

Our work required careful planning and logistics for Milan Rho Fiera. The installation phase spanned four days, during which we built the structural framework, installed the LED walls, positioned the lighting, and configured the audio system. This was followed by a full day of technical rehearsals to test integrations before the public opening.

During the six-day event, a dedicated Imagines technical team remained onsite to supervise every aspect of the setup: monitoring video content, adjusting lighting, managing press conference audio, and providing real-time support for any exhibition needs. After the show, dismantling was completed in two days, restoring the space in full compliance with the exhibition’s timelines.

Since 2021, our collaboration with Strike Agency and Zero Motorcycles has been renewed at each edition of EICMA. This ongoing partnership stems from a synergy built on reliability, attention to detail, and technical quality. Our ability to precisely meet the needs of international brands and to operate with flexibility in high-traffic environments allows us to raise the bar with every edition.
