PROLIGHTS SMARTBAT PLUS G2
The ProLights SmartBat Plus G2 is the next-generation version of the original SmartBat, designed for professional applications where a standard decorative uplight is not enough. It delivers greater output, increased versatility and significantly improved white-light quality. The fixture features a 4 × 20 W RGB + Warm White LED source with Spektra™ calibration, providing highly accurate white reproduction with CRI up to 94, R9 up to 96 and TLCI up to 92.
Compared to the SmartBat BK, which uses 4 × 8 W RGBW LEDs, the Plus G2 produces 2,051 lumens versus 1,354 lumens, and reaches 1,723 lux at 5 m compared to 730 lux at 5 m. In practice, this means approximately 1.5 times more luminous flux and over 2.3 times greater illuminance at distance.
The fixture also upgrades from IP33 to IP65, making it suitable for temporary outdoor use. It features a removable 21.6 V lithium battery, supports both AC and DC charging, can operate directly from mains power while disabling battery charging via software, and includes integrated LumenRadio CRMX and W-DMX wireless control in addition to standard wired DMX.
Mechanically, the SmartBat Plus G2 is considerably more flexible than the original SmartBat. It can be used both as an uplight and as a spot or flood fixture thanks to interchangeable magnetic beam filters and dedicated accessories. It retains its completely fan-free passive cooling system, while offering a substantial upgrade in light quality, durability and flexibility for professional event lighting.
