DJI Ronin Gimbal Systems
Gimbal systems are motorized stabilizers designed to keep a camera steady, eliminating vibrations and ensuring smooth movements even while the operator is moving. They are widely used in professional video production, live events, filmmaking, and also for smartphone or drone shooting.
They offer several advantages, including cinematic smoothness, the ability to create dynamic shots (tracking, push-ins, simulated aerial movements), and high versatility for any type of production—from film sets to live corporate events.
Gimbals are especially useful in situations where a traditional steadicam would be less practical or too costly, particularly during corporate dinners, small/medium events, or environments with limited space.

We typically use it as a kit paired with the Sony FX3.

Gimbal Systems: Sony FX3
The Sony FX3, part of Sony’s Cinema Line, is designed as the perfect crossover between a professional mirrorless camera and a compact cinema camera. It’s highly appreciated by independent filmmakers, mobile operators (live events, corporate, documentaries, weddings), and anyone seeking a lightweight, cinematic-looking camera.
Equipped with a 12.1MP Full Frame BSI CMOS sensor, it prioritizes low-light performance over resolution, making it extremely effective in dark environments such as theaters or concerts.
It features Dual Base ISO (640 / 12,800), ensuring clean images even in challenging lighting.
The FX3 records 4K up to 120fps, 10-bit 4:2:2, internal sampling, and 16-bit RAW via HDMI. It supports S-Cinetone (cinematic look out-of-camera) and S-Log3 (for advanced color grading).
The built-in stabilization allows for excellent handheld operation, in addition to gimbal use.
It includes professional XLR inputs via the top-handle, perfect for production microphones without needing extra accessories. Multiple mounting points eliminate the need for a cage.
Practical Use Cases
- Concerts and live shows: excellent high-ISO performance with clean images even under complex lighting
- Corporate events: compact and discreet, yet producing a cinema-grade look unmatched by standard DSLRs
- Gimbal operation (e.g., RS4 Pro): ideal for fluid, dynamic camera movements
- Multicamera productions: integrates well with HDMI RAW and standardized color profiles for consistent matching
