LUMENRADIO AURORA / STARDUST
The LumenRadio Aurora / Stardust belong to the same CRMX platform and share the common goal of providing highly reliable wireless DMX/RDM transmission for professional lighting applications. Both support CRMX, W-DMX G3/G4s, a fixed 5 ms latency, 128-bit encryption, Forward Error Correction (FEC), and compatibility with network protocols such as sACN and Art-Net.
The Aurora is a compact and highly versatile single-universe solution, while the Stardust is designed as a high-performance multi-universe wireless backbone for large-scale events, broadcast productions and complex lighting control systems.
Aurora is an extremely flexible single-universe transceiver, capable of operating as both a transmitter and a receiver. It features 5 GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and a 5-pin XLR DMX/RDM connector configurable as either input or output. This makes it particularly useful as a protocol converter between wired DMX, network-based protocols and wireless CRMX systems.
Stardust, on the other hand, is designed for larger and more demanding productions. It supports 8 DMX/RDM universes, integrates Ethernet, 5 GHz Wi-Fi, four TimoTwo radio modules, PoE, and a 15-minute backup battery, ensuring uninterrupted operation in the event of a power failure. It is therefore the ideal choice whenever multiple wireless universes need to be distributed from a centralized, highly redundant infrastructure.
